I’m a huge animal lover — honestly, I prefer them over humans :-)
I started casually petsitting during my early 20s in my hometown in Alaska.
In my mid-20s, I worked for a friend in Ugashik, Alaska where I helped care for her pets and chickens (among other fun jobs!).
After that, I traveled the world and then made pizza in Santa Fe, New Mexico for a few years.
I returned to the Seattle area to be closer to my sister. I dabbled in the airline industry and then was a social media manager for a bit.
Then COVID hit. I began boarding dogs during the day at the house I was living in, which was a blast. During that time, I was planning my next chapter — Vanlife.
My lease ended and I returned to Alaska to work at a sportfishing lodge in Iliamna, Alaska. I saved enough money to purchase a 2005 Astro Van on Facebook Marketplace and build it out.
I spent the winter learning how to use power tools, hook up a solar-powered electrical system, and build a stable and secure home from scratch.
Once my build was complete, I began petsitting professionally. I initially started on Rover where I was listed as a Star Sitter due to my consistent 5-star ratings, a dozen plus repeat clients, reliable communication, and dependability.
After a few years on the platform, I decided to strike out on my own, aiming to gain more control over my business and provide my clients with a wider selection of specialized services.
Now, with over 15 years of house and petsitting experience, I bring a wealth of expertise to ensure the well-being of your beloved companions. Proficient in administering medications and skilled in caring for handicapped pets and those in recovery, I provide attentive and professional care tailored to their individual needs. Rest assured, your pets are in capable hands with my compassionate and detail-oriented approach.
